Would Blue Laws have prevented any of this?

For years we were all told this day could come. That we'd pay the price for not cutting back and controlling ourselves. I just think it was way too much too fast. This was not what we thought could or would happen. Nothing should increase this quickly.

- Smoke is smoke regardless how it is inhaled. I was merely explaining the concerns over cigarette smoking are as invalid as you believe inhaling wood smoke are. There is not evidence or proof cigarette smoking is a direct result of cancer.

- You are correct. Smoking has been around for a very long time. Smoking has been around long before Christopher Columbus whom American’s celebrate once a year with a day off work, or school.

- Allow me to correct my comment. The majority of trucking companies have random drug testing, which by most accounts is required by federal law from what I was told by a PUC officer. There are some who do not follow the law but that is not in trucking alone, that is every where people go these days.

- Respectfully, I do not understand how a police officer or DOT officer can investigate what is true or false unless the officer is listening in on the telephone conversation. That is why I suggested officers riding along to witness what actually happens.
